The COVID-19 vaccines are free to the public under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act, signed into law in March 2020, as well as a patchwork of other laws.

Medicaid and Medicare

If you are covered under Medicare or Medicaid, your vaccine will be paid for by Medicare’s trust fund.

For Medicare beneficiaries, the vaccine is covered under Medicare Part B.
